i've spent the past two nights watching home movies with my dad. not ones from when i was younger but ones from when he was a kid in the late 50s all the way up to the most recent on the dvd 1980-something. life was so much more classy back then. it was elegant it was ...awesome. they had way better clothes and everyone was always put together and no one looked like slobs and girls didnt go parade everywhere like skanks and guys wore their pants at their waists like they're supposed to... it was just crazy watching that and like comparing it to life now... which is like the total opposite.
sometimes i wonder if i was born at the wrong time.

I feel the same way.
Like, we're doing the 50's and 60's in history rn and it's bringing back that sense of us being born into the wrong generation.
